Alaya Nrityam (Traditional Temple Dance):

Alaya Nrutyam is the traditional temple dance performed from thousands of years- It is the part of prabhata seva from morning to pavalimpu seva at night for goddess in temples. Dance is important aspect in performance of Sadasopacharas (i.e 16 Sevas of god) Devoting the god in temples through 'Natya' is the essence of 4 vedas called as Natya-veda. Natya Veda Derived from 4 Vedas by Brahma. instruments from Rugveda, Dance Moments from Yagurveda, Singing from samaveda, expressions from Adarvanaveda.

Dance is the only way to worship Hindu Gods.All of our Hindu gods likes dance and all they are well known for Dance and they are all dancers. Vedas and Dance both are vital in worshiping the god in Temples. Dance is also Important form of worship the god as like Vedas. Alaya prathista, Avahana, Aradhana of Services to god is performing from many years at temples, conducting :in according with the rules and regulations of Agama Sastra. The part of Aradhana in 'Agama -Sastra' is called ' Alaya-Nrutya', i.e Temple Dance.

Temple Dance is 3 Formats:

1.Saivagama: It is the form of Devoting Lord Siva (who is well known for Dance).

2.Vishnavagama: It is the form of Devoting Lord Vishnu (who is known as Abinaya Priya).

3.Saktheyagama: It is the form of Devoting goddess knowns as 'Lasya Priya'.

Pooja, Aradana, Archana without Dance will not give proper results, it is the truth of Vedas it is the practice used from traditionally from many years.

Dr.Sappa Durga Prasad is the only person who is working hard for propagation and regeneration of temple-dance with his researches, in many temple dances. Ex: Siva Pancha Mukha Nartana, Ahobila Nrusimha Nartana, Brihadiswara Sabdam, Chidambara Nataraja Nrutyam etc., he dedicated all his wealth and health for the propagation of temple dace. Yagna Nartanam:

Dance is the only way for foundaring, and aradhana of the gods at the time of Yagnas and Yagas.
According to Vedas Dance is only way to invite the gods and it tells about'the process and procedures to honour the god and it shows the formal way of Inviting Astadikpalakas, Panchabutas with it provides good result at the time of Kratu.

According Veda 'Kratu' should be done only with dance. Dance is vital for all the Vedic Karms Vedas also provides clear information regarding the Mantra, Raga and Tala at the time of Kratu. It also tells about the instruments to be used at the time of kratu, and it also tells about type of Dance which is to performd at the time of Yagnam.

Vedas clearly start that without dance 'Yagnas and Yagas' will not give proper results. It is the real truth of Vedas. With his research, Dr.Sappa Durga Prasad re-gcnarated Temple Dance and he is working hard to take the 'AlayaNrutya' in the Lime-Light. He conducted, 'thrice', 'NartanaYagnas' with 108, 118, and 136 Dancers in 1st time in World Cultural History for that he found a place in Limca book of World records.
Abhinaya Kalopanyasam:

Acting is the language of heart. Man acts from his birth to death. All .these forms of acting will be acted by actors in traditional way. In olden days all the great dancers-performed their performes at pandita sabas and Rajastanas.

Dance is the way to tell the Answers of questions asked by the panditas in olden days. It shows the caliber of the dancers. Now a days we cannot find the dancers who are performing their dance with 'Abinaya Kala'.

'Abinaya Kalopanyasam' is the one which is designed by Dr.sappaji by painting the colours to old temple dance.
      It comprises of 5 types
1.Birth of Natya.
2.Dance in Ramayan & Bbarata Puranas.
3.Dance at history of kings.
4.Padhya, Padha, Shokas, Abinayam.
5.Dance with answer for the questions asked by the audience.

This type of 'Natya Kala' is very useful to common man. It encourages the children to learn dance and it also provides answers to many questions. Finally it creates intrest among the people to learn dance.

In the world dance history this type of learnings & performences are found only at Dr.Sappaji performances and his upanyasas (Speetches).

Nrutyotsavam's:

Sappaji is a person who is working hard for the propagation and regeneration of ALAYA NRUTYA and YAGNA NARTANA. He conducted Nrutyotsavam, Nrutya pooja hi many temples of South India.

At the time Maha Sivaratri, Dr.Sappaji is conducting 'Nrutyotsavam' in famous land siva temples. From Last 28 years he is conducting 'Nrutya Aradhana' every year at the time of Kartika Poumami.
Every year Sappaji is conducting "Nrutya Kalotsavam", "Danurmasa Nrutya Aradana" at
Vishnava Temples.    Dr.Sappa Durga Prasad is the only the person who conducted Nrutyotsavas at 160 temples.
